What to include
The recording. Its share link, or the address of its page in your library, which ends in its id.
The browser. Its name and version, and whether you recorded from takeone.dev or the extension.
What happened. What you did, what you expected, and what you saw instead, with the words of any message. Leave out passwords and API tokens; we never need them.
Where to record from
takeone.dev. Open Record in Chrome, Edge, Arc or Brave on a computer, choose Tab, and confirm the tab in the browser’s picker.
The Chrome extension (opens in a new tab). One click from the toolbar records the tab you are on, with no picker, and its clicks when you turn them on.
A window or the whole screen. Recorded from takeone.dev: choose Window or Screen on the same set-up card. The extension records tabs only.
Every take lands in the same library, and any browser can watch its link.
Help in the app
Once signed in, Help is at the foot of the sidebar, or in the bar along the bottom on a phone. It covers recording, editing and its keyboard shortcuts, sharing, and where things live.
