Record the demo. Let your agent do the edit.
TakeOne records a tab, window or screen in Chrome and makes it look produced. Then the agent you already use trims, captions and publishes it, through a REST API or an MCP server.
Free for 5 GB. No AI credits to buy, no card needed.
A short demo. You record a tab in Chrome, invite a teammate and stop at 04:12. Your agent reads the transcript and the clicks, trims the first 12 seconds, zooms in on each click and publishes; the share page gets four chapters from the transcript.
Pay for TakeOne, not for AI credits
- No AI built inTakeOne doesn’t run or resell a model, so no plan has an AI add-on or a credit pack.
- The agent you already useConnect it through MCP or the API. Its usage stays on the plan you already have with its provider.
- AI sees a take only if you say soA recording reaches an AI only when you connect an agent and give it access.
A take that looks produced, not just recorded
Zoom that follows your clicks, a smooth cursor, your camera and captions are layers on the take, so what your agent publishes already looks designed.
- Zoom follows your clicks
- A smooth drawn cursor
- Your camera in a bubble
- Reframe to 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5
- Idle stretches sped up
- Captions and chapters
- Crash-safe recording
- GIFs for the changelog
Connect the way your agent already works
MCP server
Hosted on MCPCloud. Sign in with TakeOne from your MCP client and approve what it may do.
- 1Open takeone.dev/connect/mcpcloud
- 2Sign in and approve the scopes
- 3Add the server to your client
REST API
JSON at api.takeone.dev/v1, with tokens you scope and revoke.
curl https://api.takeone.dev/v1/recordings \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $TAKEONE_TOKEN"Beacon
A 5 KB script in the app you demo. Clicks become zoom and cursor ripples in the take.
<!-- in the app you demo -->
<script src="https://takeone.dev/assets/beacon.js" async></script>No script? The Chrome extension (opens in a new tab) records the tab you’re on, clicks included, on any site.
The editor’s main moves, from a prompt
Edits land as unpublished changes until you or the agent publish, so you can review a cut before anyone sees it.
- Find a take
/v1/recordings - Read what was said
/v1/recordings/{id}/transcript - See where you clicked
/v1/recordings/{id}/events - Change the cut and the zoom
/v1/recordings/{id}/edit - Publish it
/v1/recordings/{id}/publish - Hear when something changes
/v1/webhooks
Get better edits out of your agent
- 01
Start with the transcript
It tells your agent what happens when, so a cut lands on the right second.
- 02
Ask for the plan before the change
Have it describe the cuts first, then apply them once you agree.
- 03
Review, then publish
Changes stay unpublished until someone publishes, so a bad cut never ships by accident.
- 04
Give each agent only what it needs
Tokens carry scopes: an agent that adds chapters never needs to publish.
Your recordings stay yours
TakeOne sends your recordings to no AI service. An agent only sees what you let it see, and you can take everything with you.
- Kept in private storage, shared only through short-lived links
- Download your originals any time
- API tokens are stored hashed and carry scopes
- Deleting a recording removes its files at once
- No advertising and no training on your takes
Priced for one person and their agents
Every plan includes the recorder, the editor, share pages and the API, with no AI credits to buy. Paid plans raise the limits and let agents publish on their own.

Do I pay for AI?
No. TakeOne has no AI of its own and sells no AI credits. Connect the agent you already use; it does the editing through the API or MCP, and its usage stays with its own provider. You pay only for your TakeOne plan.
Which agents can use TakeOne?
MCP clients that connect to the TakeOne server on MCPCloud, and anything that can call a REST API with a token.
Does my agent see all my recordings?
It sees what its token or connection allows. Give each agent only the scopes it needs, and revoke access whenever you like.
What does publishing with no tab open mean?
When no TakeOne tab of yours is open, the export renders on our side, so an agent can publish on its own. Starter and Pro include minutes of it each month.
Where do my recordings live?
In private storage, reachable only through short-lived links that TakeOne signs when someone watches. Download your originals any time; deleting a recording removes its files at once.
Is there a free plan?
Yes: 5 GB, takes up to 10 minutes, and the API and MCP at 100 calls a day. No card needed.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and nothing you recorded is deleted.
Record once. Let the agent take it from there.
